I too have looked for some info but have never found any.

I too have shot with both type of lenses and have been hard pressed to tell
the difference. Mechanically, Enna-Werk did some extensive rework of the
shutter shutter re-design so the Chromar Enna-Werk shutters are called
Revere synchro Prontor. I talk some with Jess Powell about his view of the
lense quality and is said there was some variance from lense to lense but
over all both types of lenses were quite good. Also a bit of Jess Powell
trivia - on the Prontor shutter there is a large space between the 2 second
speed and the "B" setting. If you set it right between the two - there is
actually a 1 second speed that they choose not to mark on the shutter ring.
If anyone is interested, I currently have a Revere Stereo 33 with Chromar
lenses for sale just had a C.L.A. on (Sell-3D Digest 977). I have shot one
roll and they were very sharp and had great contrast. I have a link to a
very large B&W photo from all sides if you are interested or would like to
look close-up at this particular model.
Happy Holidays,
