P3D Dr T and Stereo Sound?

What's this !? I've been trying to sell you on the merits of stereo
surround sound for over a year now and you expressed little to no
interest. Why the change? Stereo sound would compliment a slide program,
and surround sound ( Pro-Logic, or 5.1) would take it over the top. The
best way to replicate surround without the enormous expense of
encoding/decoding, would be to use a multi-track tape system. A 4 track
tape deck and seperate amplifiers would allow " home-mix" surround
scores to be created with basic know-how. I've made several surround
audio tapes for different purposes like home movies, music scores,
haunted halloween etc.
For a slide show I would not include moving subject matter. A "frozen"
plane accompanied by swooping audio would be tacky......however a
beautiful landscape can be scored with birds flying around, moving
water, the ambiences present in the scene etc. Careful selection of
images with sound would be impressive! My offer still stands to produce
a surround score for an OSPS slide show. Once the images are selected, a
score can be arranged and recorded...........more on this later....
