P3D Re: 2D vs. 3D

I have found that a good stereo composition yields slides that are not
especially good for 2D due to overlaps, mergers, etc.  So after taking a
stereo pair I often shift position to where a 2D composition jells and
take a third shot.  I use a slide bar mounted one-eyed camera.
