I have recently checked the measurements of a wide variety of mounts. All of
the mounts had essentially the same separation between the openings except the
PEGCO slip-in mounts. They had about 63.5 mm separation while all the others were
very close to 62.0 mm. I did not have a Reel 3D slip-in mount to measure so I
don't know if it has the same problem as the PEGCO slip-in mount. The 1.5 mm
difference would cause problems if you are viewing or projecting a mixture of
different mounts. Each time a different separation mount is viewed there would
have to be a significant adjustment of the viewer or projector. Other than this
problem they would seem to work OK. Of course they don't allow the precise
mounting required for adjustment free projection in a slide show. The heat seal
cardboard mounts don't either though.
