P3D Slide Mounting Thread

I thought I would add my 2 cents worth to all the comments I have been
reading about the stereo window, slide mounting and so on.
It still confuses me as to exactly what or how to properly mount
stereo slides even after all the comments I have read here. The bottom
line seems to be that someone actually has to show you how to do it
for the process to be understood. Recently I bought one of Jon Golden's
S.A.M.'s and found it to be helpfull for horizontal alignment. Last
nite I finally fired up my TDC-Vivid projector and took a look. Seems
that I may have done the SAM aligned slides right. At least they appear
to be correct. I can run thru the batch of 40 or so and not detect my
eyeballs moving independently to try and compensate for misalignment.
Next time I attend an NSA (Buffalo), I will try to have DrT show me
the light on this. No George, I don't think I will be able to ever make
a meeting up there in Cleveland! I don't like to drive at night!
Oh yeah, the stuff Kodalux mounted was miles off. I actually had 2 come
back with the right side mounted upside down!
