Being a confirmed lurker, I didn't want to start this discussion,  but now
that Boris has I have to agree with him re: the quality of the stereoscopic
imagery in SI.  Most of the images suffered horribly from cardboard cutout
effects,  only a few actually used depth to any real effect, most just had a
background in the distance but no real depth to the subject (the exceptions
to this were the relative close ups).  And the colors were horrible.  From
past discussions here on P3D I gather that Boris has a better color
separation scheme that these images would have benifited from greatly.  The
only image that I thought actually worked was the Universal Studios ad.  

Personally I would have liked to have seen a page of stereopairs with
instructions on how to freeview so people would get a chance to see what a
full color stereo image really can look like.  

Oh well,  I wasn't asked to help out so all I can do is bitch about the
outcome.  Actually Dave Kesner and I have been involved in more than one
conversation about how we wish we had been asked to do the shoot....
