P3D 'The Falling Vintage Viewer' in Eye-Popping 3D

So I'm out with a couple of dames last night showing them--as always--my
latest 3D pictures (always trying to make new converts). It's the wee hours,
and I get out of the car, carefully carrying my Baja case when there is
suddenly a loud crashing sound. It takes me a moment to realize that my
Kodaslide 11 viewer slid out of the case, smashing into the pavement.
Apparently I had somehow knocked the latch open and voila--disaster. It took
me a moment to gather the courage to pick the viewer up and survey the
damage, praying against odds it was undamaged. Of course not--a few chips,
and a hairline crack at the top of one lens. My wife had to talk me out of
lying prostrate in front of Rambler and commanding her to back a tire up over
my head a few times (or sixty).
I bought this viewer in BRAND-NEW SHAPE, and I mean MINT. I had even used DR
T's book to fix the focussing pad--me, who can't fix ANYTHING. It lasted
decades in its pristine condition--and then I had to get my grubby mitts on
it and RUIN it. I have just hidden it in the closet because I can't bear to
LOOK at the damn thing.
I have no theories about the stereo window, no comments pro or con about the
swimsuit issue, I just had to tell everybody how BAD I FEEL, ahahaha.
Accidents do happen and I'm sure everybody has their horror stories, but I
feel like a LIMB has been torn from me. Don't let this happen to you!
Bartender, make it a stiff one.
