I don't take things like that personally... and did not really
comment on the quality of the photography of this program, only
on the quality of mounting which was SUPERB! As a projectionist
I look at the slides over my glasses and slide after slide there
was a perfect registration, ABSOLUTELY NO VERTICAL MISALIGNMENT.
I mentioned the use of EMDE mounts. These mounts follow the
philosophy of "mounting to inifinity". As a result, in many
scenics without strong foreground, the picture appears to be
far behind the window. I was really thrilled with the
consistency of mounting that made this program a pleasure to
view.
Now, about the contents, this is a travelogue, taken by an
elderly couple using a Stereo Realist exclusively. I
appreciate the work that went into this program. I have been
to many places but have never made a projection program with
music and narration. This is a lot of work and I am thankful
to those to do that kind of work. Sitting comfortably in my
chair, I can enjoy a visit to a beautiful land in 3 dimensions.
This kind of thing does not make me tired or bored. I enjoy
every minute of it! Put in a proper perspective, this is a
travelogue, not an award-winning stereo slide program of
general appeal.
This program came from the PSA Stereo Division Library and it
is available for loan from PSA (along with a long list of
programs, available from PSA Stereo Division Chairman:

Here is the information listed for this program:

BEAUTIFUL NEW ZEALAND
by Arthur (FPSA) and Bee Ojeda
If you could visualize the Alps of Switzerland and the glaciers
of Alaska, indented by the fjords of Norway, dotted with the
geysers of Iceland and boiling mud springs of Yellowstone—all
transplanted to the South Pacific—you would have the delightful
package called New Zealand. The Ojedas share their month's tour
with you. (48 min; script; R-R and cassette tapes: narr w/cues;
b'gnd music)

>From looking at the PSA program listings I see that Arthur
and Bee Ojeda have produced many other travelogues, including
one on the Greek Islands. I would be happy to see all of them!
I don't know anything about this couple but somehow I have a
feeling that they have moved to the 4th dimension since I have
not seen their names in recent PSA activities (past 6 year).
Thanks and regards,
