They *do* profess their very strong distaste of spamming.
Unfortunately, their defenses are quite deficient, IMO.
Further, I am concerned that their insistence on inserting
"From: [Name] [e-mail]" into the body of every post may
defeat Marco's recent generous and considerate decision to
improve the spam defenses of his searchable archives.

Spammers already forced me to abandon one e-mail account.
I don't want to go through that again.  This is not intended
to start a debate here about onelist.  I like most of what
they do.  But until they improve their spam defenses, I won't
post from my "real" e-mail address to any large list hosted
there.

(Note: you may well be safe if you use a small ISP; I think
posters from large services such as AOL, MSN, EarthLink,
MindSpring, FlashNet, etc., are most at risk.)
