P3D Seton Rochwite in San Jose

Dave Thayer posted a note in Sell 3-D about putting a KinDar ultra close-up
stereo lens for sale on Ebay, noting the lens was designed by Seton
Rochewite for the Exakta VX SLR camera in the early 60's.   Following Dave's
links on eBay, I see he's got a letter posted at his site which is the text
of Rochwite's letter to someone named "Nick", and in the letter, Rochwite
discusses the lens.

But, I see in the letter where Rochwite says "After moving to San Jose CA in
1963... " 

I didn't know Rochewite had lived in San Jose.  Does anyone know anything
about Rochwite in San Jose???  What was he up to?  Where did he live?  What
did he eat for lunch?
