I know others disagree since we have discussed this issue
in great lengths, but as you said, the flexible cables are
as useful as the adjustment knobs which are not very useful
in my opinion.  Or, let's say, they are useful to adjust
the first slide and let the show run from there.  The flexible
cables encourage over-adjustment which is what is happening
in most clubs and which, IMO, is what gave Grant's family
a bit headache.  As I said, this is only my opinion and
it is not shared by others.

What make inconvenient?  When you use a viewer you don't
adjust anything, other than the focus, right?  Why offer
and abuse these options in projection?
