Some dual releases have an adjustment for the length of one of the cables
relative to the other, which has the effect of adjusting the timing. I
have a Prontor dual release which has such an adjustment - it allows
fine-tuning of the synch between two cameras. I don't have the Olympus,
but I do have their manual for the Olympus macrophoto group of equipment,
and from the tiny little photo in there, it looks like the two cables are
slightly different, perhaps indicating an adjustment collar on one.

In the Olympus OM System Manual for Macrophoto group, many other items do
have a letter/number code along with their name, but the 'Double Cable
Release' does not. Note that you don't want the 'SR II Cable Release'
(that's a Roman numeral 2), it's just a single cable release.
