I don't know anything about the current availability of the Olympus
twin cable release. I own a broken one. It cost more than $40 at the
time I bought it from B&H a year or two ago.
It is meant to be used with a macro focusing bellows. One of the tips
(with a red ring) can be adjusted to change the delay. You can adjust
it so that there is no delay.
On mine the adjustable tip no longer fully retracts no matter how you
adjust it. I don't know why this happened. I suspect that it wasn't
meant to withstand the rigors of field use. It synced by Lubitels
fine while it worked. I only bought it because I was too lazy to
build a twin cable release as described here recently.
(That's only half true. I have a habit of making projects much more
complicated than they need to be, and then getting too lazy to finish
them in their overly complicated state.)
