In Weiser's book they appear to be almost identical,
except for the rangefinder which is found in the Iloca
Stereo Rapid only. Also, the Iloca has 2.8 lenses and
1/300 top speed, vs. 3.5 lenses and 1/200 top speed for
the Realist 45.

The Iloca Stereo Rapid is *not* a 7p format camera.
Only the early Iloca is a 7p camera. In Weiser's book
there is an Iloca Stereo 1st version and an Iloca
Stereo 2nd version, both of which are 7p. Then came
Iloca II which is 5p. Finally, Iloca Stereo Rapid 2.8.

There were only three 7p stereo cameras in the 50s:

Iloca Stereo (early, made in W. Germany), Verascope F40
(made in France and imported in the USA as Busch Verascope)
and the Belplasca (made in E. Germany). No wonder this
format is called "European Format". Now we also have the
FED.
