[photo-3d] John Baird Remembered - His Videos

Hi all,

As I began work on the second 3D-CD, John Baird was excited to finally have
a chance to have his stereo work included. You see, he did not have a 3D web
site, and was not prepared to participate in the first 3D-CD. But now, we
worked together to get a bunch of his images scanned in and included on
3D-CD-II. I am happy with the results, but saddened that John never got to
see the finished product...

As he and I communicated about the project, he asked me if it would be
possible to include two video segments that were done about his work for
local news shows. I said we could try, but in the end we never got clear
permission to do so. I have had the videos sitting here, and finally decided
to make RealVideo versions of them and place them on the web for a while so
that those of you who did not get a chance to know John before he passed
away might see a little about him.

I miss John, but treasure our work together. I hope you enjoy the videos...
(Sorry the quality is not the best, but the Internet is still a fairly poor
broadcast medium!)
