Your use of the term "disposables" reminds me of something that happened
the other day at work.  Many people refer to these as "throw away"
cameras as well.   In the photo retail business we now call the "one
time use" cameras.  Here's why:  An older gentleman came to my counter
to purchase one of these and said with a disgusted look on his face, "I
gave my grandson one of these throw away cameras, and when he finished,
the fool kid threw it away!  I never got my pictures."

His grandson was 16.

I wish I could say this was the only time that has happened...
