Most people do this absent mindedly, you see this lack of editing
on Usenet frequently. Some people are new to the net and netiquette,
or they are unskilled with their editor program, give them time.

Instead of saving on hardisk, why not save in plain ascii text on
floppy disk in compressed format? Then use a text search program
to dig around in there for whatever you're looking for.

Believe it or not, I access this list, and often the web via a
completely obsolete 25mhz 386 with 2 megs ram, DOS platform,
40meg HD, 28K modem, and this system is very fast because it
all runs in text mode. Cyberspace.org is a fast text-based
UNIX ISP - and it's free! When I simply must have graphics, I'll
use the slower Pentium! When I see something scrolling by here that I
wish to save, I hit a hotkey to run a little memory resident
program called "clipit," outline the text I want, and save it in
the proper subdirectory on floppy disk.

Your English is excellent - better than many 'natives!'
