Yup - it is a "free" service, although the moderator(s) can
make the decision whether to allow them or not. I suppose if
necessary we could just have a "photo-3d-poll" list with no
messages except polls and turn poll posting off on all the
other lists if people get too upset with them.

One of the unfortunate things is that Onelist doesn't work as
well as my custom (ahem) software on preventing reposting of
entire digests with essentially no added information. However
if someone does it consistently and ignores suggestions not to
do it, then I can turn moderation an individual bases by
subscriber, although I *really* don't want to do that.

The underscores are added as separators by onelist.
As far as the ads go, for photo-3d, I'd prefer to just
have them silently removed, by which I mean not to exchange
one set of ads for another (ie, a sponsorship). This would
require support from the list and/or a generous donator.
The volume on tech-3d and sd-3d is so low as not to be
worthwhile worrying about, ad-wise, at the current time.

On sell-3d, I think an ad based sponsorship would be
     appropriate.

Thanks!
