Hi Oliver,

There seems to be two distinct schools of thought associated
with this subject.
1.  Check for good synch at store before completing purchase,
even if it does take a little trouble and time.
2.  To hell with fooling around at the store.  I'll take my chances
and deal with the problem some way later or just work within
the limits of the rig.

Oliver, I'm afraid I didn't imply that there was no "wasted" time
to be spent at the store.  I find that anything worth doing usually
entails some time.  Its a matter of personal values as to just what
is wasted time!
