Speaking of mounting one camera upside down, has anyone tried, or thought of
trying, that with the Olympus IS-20 or IS-3? These models appear to have one side
of the body shortened, and it looks like the lenses could be placed very close
together if one camera was mounted upside down. I've never seen a camera
configured like this one. I wonder where they put the film? The IS-20 also comes
with an integral zoom 28-110, and cost is reasonable at 299.95 (B&H). I realize
that shutter travel would be opposite and would cause some problems with fast
action shots, but overall this might be a good option for twinning and also
getting a closer interaxial than most other twin camera combinations.
