I am writing this on list so everyone can benefit.  I have found a large 
supply of XR10M's about three years ago - but the supply is slowly dwindling 
due to the 20 or so people, on my recommendation, who have purchased 2 or 
more cameras over the years.  Prior to finding this supply I searched 
everywhere in the New York City area as well as other large camera stores 
around the country.  I was able to sometimes find a few cameras here and 
there, but nothing more than that.  XR10Ms rarely show up at camera shows.  I 
attend 2-3 camera shows a month and rarely see an XR10M.  The supply I found 
is at Cambridge Camera in New York City.  They had well over 100 bodies but 
now they have less than 40.  I have tried repeatedly to find out how and why 
they had all these bodies, but I can not get a satisfactory answer.  I am 
told they were Demos, but I doubt that.  They do not appear to be brand new - 
as they have no box or warrenty, but they are not used either.  Maybe they 
are factory serviced - I am just not sure and no one at Cambridge will give 
me a definitive answer.  But they do have them.  The prices vary somewhat, 
and some of the salesclerks are not aware that the XR10M is available - so 
you have to ask for Robert.  If you ask for a 3 month warrenty - you will 
probably get that also - but not always.  It is best if you can go there in 
person to "test" the bodies - but I realize that this is not possible for 
those that are not in the area.  I would be happy to answer any question for 
anyone - just call or e-mail me.
