[photo-3d] Rittai & Super Duplex for closeups

I just ran my first rolls of slide film through the Rittai and the ISO
Super Duplex. The results are great!

The Rittai is a 4-lens point-n-shoot camera with auto-wind/rewind. I
bought it on e-Bay brand new sealed up. This camera was made in Hong Kong
and not sold in the USA as far as I know. It has a flash and a nice bright
frame finder with built in level pendulum. It has one speed and two stops,
f/4.5 and maybe f/8. I don't think anyone will process it into lenticular
prints. Lenses are 25mm f/4.5.

It advances 16perf with each shot instead of 17perf as in the
Nimslo/Nishica. This allows prints to be made by any 1-hour place and
mounted for viewing with a Loreo viewer. But back to slides -you can
choose any pair and get a 4,8 or 12 perf stereo base. (For reference the
Fed Stereo is 14 perf and the Realist is 15 perf) This puts the window at
0.4, 0.8 & 1.2meters.

The ISO places realist sized images at a 30mm base (6.3 perf equiv). The
window is at 0.9 meters.

I took the same scene with the Rittai, ISO, and Fed and couldn't tell any
difference in sharpness with a viewer or projector. I will try again using
a microscope. I will be showing these slides at the Stereo New England
meeting this coming Sunday.

The Rittai slides are mounted using RBT 1/2 frame mounts or Spicer 1/2
frames with an RBT as a jig. The ISO slides were mounted with a lot of
difficulty because I don't have the cutter yet but I eventually got them
right. I used silver tape on an RBT mount w/o the sliders but Spicer
mounts are coming from RMM.

Regards -Ralph
