You should now be able to connect and register with a different 
machine, get a magic number from their web site, and then manually 
enter that number on the machine that will run Strata3D.  One of your 
machines needs to be able to browse the web.

Myself, I do not run the internet on my rendering machine, so I was 
in the same boat myself.  As a beta tester, I had to register the 
programs several times, so I am sure this can be done.  The last 
incarnation was very straightforward.
