I don't know about the Mac aspect - but I own and am a big fan of the VR Joy
product. I own many different LCD shutter glasses, but VR Joy is the one that I
use.
It works best with interlaced graphics modes, but even if you don't have
interlaced modes, it will make one for you. Press the "mode" button and it will
alternately blank the odd and even scan lines of the display in sync with the
glasses. All this is accomplished with a VGA pass-through cable: no special
software, no parallel port connection, no special cards. Thus I can view 3D in
both DOS and Linux - try that with the others. You just need interlaced stereo
pairs.
