[photo-3d] U. S. Views Folio Q&A Part 2

Question 3: How is this different from reels offered by Viewmaster?
Members have the opportunity to see locales not covered by Viewmaster.
And members will enjoy all kinds of images, styles, and camera equipment
info. The cost to members is peanuts compared to buying Vewmaster reels.
And the information exchange, the sharing of ideas with other fellow
stereo enthusiasts is....well.................priceless. :-)
Question 4: What kinds of images are acceptable, not acceptable etc and
why should anyone judge? Why can't I submit any image I
 choose?
The rules form will explain exclusions. Some reasons for exclusion ( but
not all reasons) might include images that fail technically, those from
a different locale than the members home town, ambiguous images like a
picture of a stop sign entitled " drive carefully in Denver". There are
endless opportunities to submit images that easily meet the
requirements.
Question 5: What if I don't have enough pictures to send 1 per month?
I think most folks have tons of images from around town........and they
are boring sights to most of the owners. Let others enjoy them!
Besides, this folio/exchange is best suited for active photogaphers.
Even a single roll through a Realist could supply images for over 1
year. That includes a modest success rate of 50% of the shots taken!
Queston 6: How would a slide be rejected for redundancy?
If a member is active in the exchange for over 1 year for example,
members will receive a second slide from the same person during the
rotation. The administrator or member could refuse a " like-kind" image
since they received a similar image from that member the previous year.
Other comments and questions always welcome. Thankyou.
