[photo-3d] " U.S. Views" folio Q&A

Question 1: Why not heat seal mounts?
I thought the restriction of heat seal mounts would allow folio members
to remount their own images if they so desire. For reasons such as
precision mounting for projection, uniformity of mounts used, cropping
to best suit the folio members style of viewer etc. Heat seal mounts
could lead to image damage trying to unmount them, however this
restriction is only a recommendation.
Question 2 : Are we shooting vacation destinations or our own hometown
sights?
Each folio member is to shoot their hometown locale, or nearest major
city. Vacation shots and destinations away from your home town cannot be
included. For example, since I live in Pittsburgh, I cannot include
vacation shots from Gettysburg, a neighboring famous locale. We would
require the images be within the surrounding area of your hometown, and
allow another photographer from the Gettysburg area to cover that
territory. In fact, I'm proposing that a limit of 2 photographers be
allowed to contribute within a determined radius of a city.
So the first 2 early signees can claim " Detroit" for example, since an
active stereo club meets there, several folks may wish to join. But the
first 2 signing up would have the exclusive of the Detroit area. Others
would have to wait for the next available opening for this area. Of
course if the folio becomes large enough, more folks would be needed in
that locale.
FYI, there are 10 folks that E-mailed me to join.
I'd like to see 10 more folks get on board before the first mailing. (
