Especially when you use phrases like "it will bring tears to
your eyes", etc., implying that MF is the only way to go and 
anything else (smaller) is inferior and a waste of time.  I am 
not saying that you or anyone else specifically said the above
but this is implied in a lot of the hype around this format.

I think you can give your workshop without emphasizing the
superiority of this format over others. You can explain to 
people what MF format is, how to get equipment, how to mount 
slides, etc., all very useful for these who want to get 
started in MF.  You can show them slides in a viewer or
in projection.  Put the emphasis on how to work in this
format, not on why you should switch from other formats. 
Be technical, not religious about it.
