I've only had two or three instances of my pictures taken and re-published
elsewhere.

One was the Pixie, and she was republished as an anaglyph in rather poor
quality. The guy who found her did not know of the Pixie, but recognized
her _pose_ at another site that I have (which is rarely discussed - it's
not aimed at stereo-philes), where I was simply showing the model in her
original pose.

Another time, an anaglyph Robin nude was being used to hawk some bogus 3d
software on ebay. The seller didn't even bother to copy the image, his
auction was linking straight to my site! I had some fun with that, as his
auction started showing this instead of the image:

Finally, I had an artist contact me, because they were teaching themselves
how to do 3d conversions. They had done a conversion on the Pixie, and
sent it to me. (I.e. they took one side, and converted to 3-d. The stereo
pixie served as a guide to their efforts). I didn't quite know how to
respond to that, at the time. But I was not happy with the poor conversion
on what was essentially a trademark image for me! I was no fan of
conversions in general, at that time, and told him so. Then added that I
hoped he would not show the image around, lest it be confused with the real
Pixie. Oh well, maybe I should have been nicer to him - he did take the
trouble to contact me!

But I would say that is not a lot of infringing. If my images are being
re-published elsewhere a lot, no one who knows my work is telling me about
it.
