I had a similar problem with lines on my scanner and trying to do
enlargements.
I was told it has something to do with the grain of the emulsion on the film
and the way the scanner views it.
Some suggested remedies were orient the film so the grain is at a different
angle, use the descreen feature of the scanner, or try scanning the opposite
side of the film and digitally reversing the image.
This is very noticable in higher speed films 400+
Kodachrome has never been a problem but some of the
higher speed Fuji stuff I use from time to time tends to do this really bad.
The fuji 1600 is really nasty for this problem.
