[photo-3d] Film Processing-NOT

Hi All,

You will not believe what happened to 6 rolls I just had done.

I drove to the Tall Ships event in SC, 11 hours each way. Got some great
shots with my RBT S1, or so I thought.

4 rolls of print film were done at an overnight lab. They were totally
asleep, and printed all the dark areas between the frames for the second
half of the stereo pair. Then to help me out they cut my negatives right
in the middle of the frames, so I can't even take them to another lab.
An almost total loss.

I also shot two rolls of slide film, took these to a different lab.
(well marked with the usual "DO NOT CUT") Got one roll back 1/2 mounted
so those are shot do to the RBT spacing. Guess they woke up half way in
the process. They did even better on the second roll and processed them
as negative film. Another total loss. I have about 9 pairs total to show
for my trouble.

I think I will have to take 50 rolls next time and have them all
processed at different labs, maybe I will get one back in usable
condition.

Of course I got a refund and some blank film afterwards, WOW a big help.
Now all I have to do is talk the Skippers into bringing the ships back
and drive another 22 hours, or maybe they will be back for the year
3000, guess I'll have to wait.
