I'll ask again Don, what is the lens separation of
these viewers?

Lots of my slides have 2.5 to 3mm of deviation and
I can view them easily. So can other folio members.
I remounted some of Bill Glickman's troublesome
slides (which have 5 or 6mm of deviation). I can
view them too though they do strain my eyes.

Don, 2.5 or 2.7mm OFD (in MF 3d) works for
the majority of people. So all I can think
is that you are in the minority who find this
to be too much, or your viewer lenses are too
close together, which makes you diverge your
eyes to view the far points.
