[photo-3d] CNN: stereo photos from Mir

  On the weekend I was watching
some financial show on CNN when
they had an interview with the
CEO of some company who was going
to pay $20 million of his own money
to get a flight up to the Russian
space station Mir.

  When asked what he was going to
do up there he said something like
"look at earth from above and take
stereo photographs of it".

  I assume he intends to take the
equivalent of airplane hypers.
Using the motion of Mir across the
face of the earth to give separation.

  Anyone else see this?  Is this
guy active in any other type of 3d
(NSA etc)?

  I wrote down his name and company
name but don't have it here.
