I removed the second-surface mirrors from the Franka as I
described in my earlier post: I used a medium-large jeweler's
screwdriver inserted behind the old mirrors and gently pried
them away from the mounting surface. The adhesive let go fairly
easily. I _could_ have had nasty broken pieces of glass, but did
not. David Lee cut new mirrors from scraps he had left (he makes
large stereo print viewers with front-surface mirrors), and I
will glue these into place. He was very accurate cutting the
new mirrors, using careful measurements that I gave him. I will
have to be very careful to clean the mounting surfaces and glue
the new mirrors in place accurately. That's about it! I hope
