[photo-3d] Printing Realist Pairs

I'm sorry, but I don't understand all the confusion regarding Realist
prints. Who can print Realist pairs? The answer is any 1 hour lab. I
know this has been discussed before, but a customer offered to give me a
Realist because he could not get the prints done anywhere. After I
finished laughing ( I felt bad but could not help myself) I invited him
to return to the store the next day. He did. I showed him Viewmagic
pairs, a Red Button, and gave him additional printed info etc.
Here's what to do:
Show any lab a printed pair sample and explain your objectives. Tell the
lab NOT to cut the negatives. Ask them if they can feed the negatives
manually through the machine, and print every frame. Explain to them
that each print from their machine ( 4X6) will show an image overlap on
either side of the print, but that is OK...just print every chip. There
should be 2 similar pictures of each scene etc. Buy yourself a nice
paper cutter and trim the prints yourself. Tell the lab you are in no
hurry, 1-2 days would be fine. ( better than 2-4 weeks, right) Remember,
the lab's first reaction will be " we don't have a carrier ( or mask)
for our machine to do your order" Tell them it's Ok to print them
anyhow. Spend a few minutes to explain......in fact, I will send anyone
an uncut 4X6 copy of a Realist chip to show as an example, just let me
know.
BTW, today I cannot pry the Realist from that man's hands. ( and to
think he was ready to hand it over...shucks :-)) Now if I can just get
my Viewmagic back from him before he skips town :-)
