I don't think this is going to work. There are
people out there who think the Kodak is at the
top, to cry out loud!!! :)

Who has tried all these cameras to be able to
construct such ranking?

Three Belplascas have gone through my hands and
I was not tempted to keep any of them. What does
that tell you about Belplasca being at no. 1?

The TDC Vivid should be in this list I would think.

In my opinion, ALL cameras from the 50s are about
equally good. I have seen pictures from most of
them in my participation in SSA (where viewing is
done with a viewer) and I have not been blown out
of the water by any of them. Only when I got the
RBT S1 I saw a difference in the quality of the
pictures. But then, this was only a small
improvement over the Realist. And it cost me an
arm and a leg. Getting into stereo with a $100
Realist ($85 to be exact)... now that was something!

Any list of top 10 cameras will create the illusion
that getting a camera closer to the top will give
better pictures. That's not going to happen IMO.

Better technique is much better than a better camera.
My advice: Concentrate on how to get better pictures,
not a better camera.

So, what is the purpose of a top 10 list?

But if you insist, I put the Realist 2.8 at the top.
Most everything else is a very close second.

Just rambling...
