Well, I finally got my slides back from Kodalus, after nearly a 
month.  Included was a notice announcing new rates for stereo and half 
frame slide mounting.  As of June 1, the price for a 24 exp. roll is the 
mailer plus $14.00.  For a 36 exp. roll, it's the mailer plus 
$17.00.  Since B&H has Kodachrome 64 and mailer for about $8.50, this 
brings the total cost for one 36 exp. roll, processing and mounting to 
$25.50.  This seems *OUTRAGEOUSLY* expensive to me.  Assuming 29 pairs per 
roll, this is $0.88 per slide.

By comparison, using a twin rig, I can get 36 (usually 38) pairs per roll 
for a total of $17.00, including film, processing and mounting.  This means 
the cost per pair is $0.47 or less.
