Acceptable to you perhaps. I don't have such easy access to redo
unacceptable prints.

Again, acceptable to you perhaps, but I can't tell you how many times
someone has remarked "There's something wrong with this" when viewing
unmatched pairs in a scope. I'm not talking about only
stereophiliacs® either - even inexperienced viewers have made
similar remarks. The stereoheads just know why.

I've been around on this too many times to be complacent. If a
photofinisher wants my business he'll find a way to do it right, not
just 'acceptable'. I'm willing to pay for the service because I know
that I'll be able to count on them to keep doing it for me: they will
only continue if they make a profit at it, and anyone doing it for
$0.39 will find out that in the long run there is no profit to be
made at that rate. Your 10-15% redos will eat up so much time and
effort that they (and you, eventually) will stop doing it except as a
labor of love. Unfortunately, I don't know any photofinishers who
love me :^(.
