No, that is a common misperception. Astia (film code RAP)
is the Pro version of Sensia (film code RA). Provia (RDP II)
and Provia F (RDP III) are not related to either Sensia or
Astia. RDP II has a different color response curve than Astia,
and better resolution. Provia F is some dynamite new grain
technology, producing less graininess in a 100 speed film than
the previous low-grain champion, 50-speed Velvia. If I remember
correctly, the resolutions of RDP II and RDP III are the same.

enough for stereo in the 35mm format. With Provia F now on

a small difference in price you can get a much better film
for stereo by switching from Sensia to Provia.
Oleg, you mention liking Astia in 120 and 4x5 formats; it may
not hold up to the more demandnig viewing requirements of 35mm
stereo.
