If you find that your chips are not holding tight on the RBT
jig pins it is time to change out pins. They do wear down over
time - not only the pin nubs which hold the chips but they
also get loose in the channel groove which can cause the chips
to shift horizontally. You might even need to occasionally
change out the jig itself if the channel groove gets too loose.
I have found a great deal of tolerance variance in the RBT
mounts so try several mount/pin combinations to find one that
is tight.
