I've recently started to experiment with stereo shots of UV fluorescing
items
also. So far, I haven't done too well with naturally fluorescing minerals,
many of which come from Franklin, New Jersey, a locality near me. The rocks
look dramatic to the unaided eye, but emit too little light to photograph
easily.
You might want to check out this site for a wealth of tips and hints, on how
to photograph
with UV light.

Note that different things will fluoresce to different degrees depending on
the UV
light source being used (i.e. long vs. short UV source).
