Thanks to the folks who responded to my question. I thought the folks in the
Helix shop knew what they were doing. Obviously the statement that ALL flash
guns use f5.6, wasn't correct. What was even more interesting, was that the
sales person was pitching Vivitar flash guns! Looks like I have to take what
they say with a grain of salt. 

The camera has been adapted for modern flash. Considering the cost of the
adapter, and the cost of having Dr. T., routine the camera, it was a no
brainer. Check his web page, and you will see what I mean. I also forgot to
state that I am using ASA 100 film. That seems to be the most popular speed,
along with the recommendation that Fuji has the best film.
