Just a change in carriers, actually.  Same paper, same key or mouse
strokes.  There are two carriers for slide printing that I've seen, one
for mounted 2x2 slides and one for uncut rolls of slides or negs.  That's
why I think the prices are the same.

Because they can.  It's a "percieved value".  On the Kodak Picture Maker,
for example, many places charge extra for cropping, red-eye reduction,
etc over the price of a straight copy.  We don't.

By the way, about anything you can do on one of the Picture Makers, you
can do on the Frontier, and more.

Something else I just thought of.  A lot of Sam's Clubs will be upgrading
to these machines.  The prices there will be even less than in the
Wal-Mart side of the company.
