OK, Yuch.... there is a specific technical term. Please give a little bit
more details. Specifically, what does Yuch mean?

I'm sorry I wasn't technical enough for you. I think that color
rendition in films is a very subjective, almost religious (a la pc versus
mac) subject, not a technical subject.

You stated your opinion that Kodachrome colors are superior. In my
opinion Fuji colors are superior. I would define "superior colors" as
meaning "I like them better". I strongly dislike Kodachrome colors and
feel that they detract from the experience of viewing the image on the
film because they look unnatural enough to me to draw my attention to the
film rather than the image. Your mileage may vary, and that's the reason
that having a variety of films on the market is so important.

I don't think either of us could support our opinions with 'technical'
reasons. I do know that no technical reasons can make me like Kodachrome
colors.

I do love the convenience of getting E6 processed locally, but I would
gladly send it off and wait for images which I liked better. I would also
use a slower film if it produced images which I liked more than Velvia and
ProviaF. Faster film would be great, but it is the image that matters the
most to me.
