Hi,

For me, the big winners for the X3B (75mm spacing) are:

	1. Full frame images in 2x2's

	2. Processing and mounting available at most any photo
           store most anywhere.

	3. Motor drive, automatic exposure, etc ... "modern stuff".

	4. TTL flash (I really like TTL flash).

	5. And one I like the most: modern optics with both
zoom lenses and interchangeable lenses (I've four sets
of lenses currently with only the zoom's linked together).
Some may argue about how fixed lenses are the best, but
they can say so until they're blue in the face, I really
like that the zoom zooms, and I used it a lot. Even if
my ortho spot is moving all over the place! But my
other three sets of "specialty lenses" are fixed ones,
           which I can swap to.

For me, the big thing missing is the autofocus mode. However, that
said, it's an SLR (or 3DLR or something) sort of camera so "manual"
focussing is TTL and fairly quick (for the linked zoom lenses anyway).

The other negative is that my X3 does not work in Program
mode nor shutter-priority mode. I think it has been reported that those
work in other units. There was a sheet in the box with it that said
that it doesn't, and RBT's web site also says that apeture-priority
(and manual) are "it" for exposure. So there may be something for getting
an older X3, I guess. Another plus for the S1 (which would be my
choice for a second complementary RBT camera).
