Why is this important? I got comfortable with the Realist, as did most on
this list who use it. Until there was an Internet and mailing lists,
there was no problem with the camera. The Realist is what it is, and easy
to use camera.
I think it unfair to compare the Realist to other cameras. The Realist is
an uncomplicated design, simple and effortless to use. There is no
problem with this silly "UI" issue that has been mentioned. Calling the
controls that make a camera operate it's UI is silly.
I have to go now.... too much coffee and I have to operate my pants UI so
mother natures exit port interface can delete some liquids. I will be
sure to expunge the Urinal Containment Vessel using the handy UI provided
by the developer - originally, one Mr. Thomas Crapper.
Come on folks, lets get serious about this. You have lots of folks
thinking that there is some problem with the David White Stereo Realist.
THERE IS NO PROBLEM! The camera works exceedingly well and does not need
any changing. If anything, we need some deep pockets to make more just
like it.
