OK, most of us know that neither Realists nor Kodachrome are perfect.
But considering the alternatives, Realists still are  great cameras that
can do a wonderful job without requiring a second mortgage or excessive
luggage. And I find its user interface comfortable (once you get used to
it), even if more quirky than "intuitive", and too non-automatic by
modern standards. 

I do appreciate that even the David White Company realized that the
double exposure problem called for a refinement of the UI, and all of my
Realists have the double exposure prevention feature. (One was added by
Zak). I wonder how 35mm stereo cameras would have evolved had the "3D
fad" not passed, and specifically if DW and their imitators had stayed
in the game? -Linda
