Well, to give this thread a full circle, look at the RBT S1!

I have made this statement before:  If David White was making
stereo cameras in the year 2000, these would look like the RBT S1.

The RBT S1 is the perfect rangefinder stereo camera.  It is 
about as long and it weighs as much as the Realist.  It is the
Y2K Realist and that's why I like it!
