I would also like an answer to this question, since I routinely
use my Pentax viewer for looking at 2X2 beamsplitter slides (Pentax,
Stereo-tach) as well as 2X2 slides made with my Nimslo and slidebar
and cha-cha shots. They all mix nicely using the Pentax viewer.
If there really isn't any difference (but there has to be
_some_ difference for Zeiss, or they wouldn't specify), this
might be a good viewer for me, for portable use.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Can someone please explain the difference between "one-ring" and
"two-ring". What ring are they referring to? Does one type of viewer
reverse the images and the other not? Would this viewer work with my
Franka beam splitter? I think I saw a description of this viewer in a
book
somewhere, but can't remember where.
