I am always nervous about receiving anything of importance by mail.  Delivery 
confirmation only works if the postman enters the signed confirmation into 
the Post Office computer - anf often times they do not.  Most of my insured, 
Delivery Confirmation packages are just left at my door without any 
signature.  Only Registered and overnight express mail seems to be handled 
properly.  I have also found that Registration is either less expensive or 
about the same price as regular 1st class insurance.
