We have to be a little bit careful with this analogy.

First, the simple projectors like the TDCs only 
blacken the screen for a fraction of a second or
1 second at worse (it depends on how fast the
projectionist pushes the slide).

Second, the RBT projector is the only stereo projector
with automatic loading and autofocus.  People will pay
$3000 for these features, not the fading feature IMO.

OK, I admit it!  I have an RBT projector in order!
Due to arrive in December!  I am nervous!!!
